On September 18th, The Remedy the play will be open for human consumption. An evening of performing arts, featuring vignettes inspired by the theme “I AM NOT AFRAID” will be open to everyone who dares to dream, free of charge. Friday, the 18th is opening night of Visionaries and Dreamers Weekend at First Corinthian Baptist Church, and will inspire and charge you with the task of living your boldest life, fearlessly.

Folami Williams is incredibly excited to be working with H. Marie Williams on this beautiful and meaningful piece! She is so glad to take this plunge with a wonderful cast by her side. She is currently pursing an MFA in Acting from Columbia University.  Past work includes: Romeo & Juliet, Twelfth Night (Manhattan Shakespeare Project);  The Suicide, Lulu, Lysistrata (Columbia University); Auto De FeReconstruction (International WOW Company); King LearIs There Room in Your Heart (Teatro La TEA), AUTOMOTIVE (East River Commedia). For Colored Girls…HAIRTwo Gentlemen of Verona, and Day of Absence (University of Virginia).

Courtney McCullough: Narrator/Once

Courtney McCullough is a 27 year-old native from the South. She hails a BFA in Theater-Performance and a minor in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University. She identifies with being a creative having had substantial experience in all forms of art, ranging from Theatre to Fashion. Outside of theatre, Courtney is a stylist and is launching her own fashion and lifestyle blog: Jane of All Trends, in early Fall 2015. Courtney would like to thank H. Marie Williams and her incredible family and friends.

Jonathan Swain: Joel and Edmund

Jonathan Swain considers H. Marie Williams a dear friend and strong supporter of her message and movement. He is grateful to be part of the cast. Jonathan began acting in 2011 at the suggestion of a close friend. It is his passion and he endeavors to make it a full time career. Past work includes: Tyson vs Ali (3 Legged Dog3LD production) , The Hoodsical (NYC Fringe Theater  Festival), The Life Television Pilot (Munkytown Productions), Finding Me web series (OMEtv).
